So I just realized today that I haven't posted in well over a month. I fail at life. (Although, to be fair, for at least three weeks of this time period, my computer was broken. I now have a shiny new one <3333)

Things going on in my life right now:

New courses! This semester I'm taking Chemistry 11, Math 12, Art 11 and Yoga. My Chemistry teacher is crazy; I love Math; Art is easy and slightly repetitive of Art 10; and Yoga is awesome.
DRAGON AGE 2 COMES OUT IN ONE WEEK YAAAAAAAY
I'm now 17! I had a pretty good birthday, although I was sick for it :(
March 30th will be my one year anniversary with Ryan! I'm so excited <3

And... that's about it? God, I'm boring.

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in forever. In honesty there isn't much to talk about, as my life has been pretty calm and boring lately. However, a few new things:

I got an iPod Touch last weekend! I'm so happy. The reason I got a job was pretty much to pay for that, and I feel very accomplished now that I have it.
I'm thinking of taking a break from writing fanfiction for a while. I don't believe anyone is currently waiting on an update of my AAR/SGA crossover, so I'm going to take a break from that and all other forms of fanfiction, and focus on original fiction for a while. I need to write for myself for a bit. In fact, I probably won't post the two fics I'm working on now until they're absolutely 100% edited-revised-rewritten-finished, and I'm expecting that to take months, if not years.

And that's... really about it. Sorry for the terrible update.

I found a note in my coat pocket after I went home from Ryan's. It said "I love you" followed by a heart. ♥
I got my hair cut, finally. The back was getting waaay too long. It is now back to the appropriate length of 3/4 of an inch. \o/
As of this moment, I have no major assignments due for school! \o/ \o/ \o/
I have a week's worth of unread Mark Reads Harry Potter to read, and three episodes of Hellcats that I have not yet seen :D
I am starting a new game of Dragon Age, wheee!

Okay. So. I like my job! I love working with food, so a bakery is the perfect place for me. 9-hour days are tiring though, I wish my shifts could be more spread out over the week, rather than super long weekend days. Oh well.

Basically, I've been way too busy between work and school and Ryan to get on the internets more than once a week or so (I'M NOT EVEN READING MARK READS HARRY POTTER EVERY DAY ANYMORE), so don't expect a lot of posts from me in the near future. I'll still be reading my friends page though! ♥

So, I've been really busy lately. I've pretty much given up on that 30 Days Of Harry Potter thing because I just can't get on the computer every day. Bleh.

On Saturday, I went to a music festival. It was incredibly awesome. My favorite artists there were Faber Drive, Jay Sean, and Stereos. Faber Drive were just amazing and talented and polite and adorable. Jay Sean isn't even an artist I normally listen to, but he puts on an amazing, energetic performance and he's brilliant at beatboxing. Stereos didn't sound great (without autotune, their lead singer has the weirdest voice I've ever heard... it's REALLY high pitched, I totally wasn't expecting it), but they were easily one of the nicest bands there, and they put on a good performance. The rest of the artists were mostly rap, plus Down With Webster and Girlicious and Hedley. And Hedley were good, but their lead singer is an asshole. He said such charming things as "You'd better sing along to this song, and if you don't know the words, there's the door and you can get the fuck out." I was not impressed. But other than that, it was probably the best seven hours of my summer so far. :D

Day 12: Favorite ship
You know, honestly, I don't care much for shipping in Harry Potter. I just... I'm not reading it for romance. I really don't care. I mean, if I had to choose, I'd pick Ron/Hermione because they're just cute, but I honestly don't care much about the romantic relationships.

Day 11: What character would you say you are most like?
I'd have to say I'm most like Lupin. I have a lot of his good qualities - I'm forgiving, calm, accepting, and patient - but I also share his bad qualities. For example, he was never mean to Snape, but he also didn't stop Sirius and James from being mean to him. I act the same way sometimes; I don't make fun of certain people, but I don't stop my friends from making fun of them either.

Today, my aunt threw a party. There was about 50 people there, including family members and people she works with. I brought Ryan with me, and it was lots of fun. My aunt lives on a lake, and she owns a motorboat, so we went tubing a few times (which is where you tie an inner tube to a motorboat and ride along behind at high speeds \o/). They own a three-person tube, so I ended up between Ryan and a another guy named Ryan (who... ironically is also 17 years old and 6'3"...). It was like a Ryan sandwich. Good times.

Day 10: Horcruxes or Hallows?
The Hallows are way more awesome. I love mythology, so items from an old legend are incredibly awesome to me. It's like that story about the three brothers who get a flying carpet, a magic mirror, and a magic apple... That was like my favorite story as a kid, idek what it's called. Either way, the Hallows are badass.

Day 9: Least favorite male character
I know some people would hate me for this, but my least favorite male character (and my least favorite character in general) is Dumbledore. I can't stand him. He's just one of those characters I want to punch every time he speaks. I don't mind him in the first few books, but from book 5 and onward, I hate him. I have a hard time finding any likeable qualities in him. I mean, yes, he fought for Muggle rights and all that, but because that's not actually dealt with in the story, it doesn't make him any more likeable as a character. I find him boring and annoying, and it seems like the majority of wizards put him up on an extremely high pedestal when in reality he's not much better than anyone else. Also, I don't like how his relationship with Harry developed in the last few books. I never got the impression that they cared that deeply about one another until the last book, and it seems like all that caring came out of nowhere. After all, they'd shared, what, 20 conversations in their entire lives? They didn't even know each other that well, really. I just... I can't even explain how much I dislike Dumbledore. I hate him.

Day 8: What do you think would be your favorite lesson?
Hmmm. I think I'd enjoy Potions (if I didn't have Snape for a teacher) because you get to cut things up and mix things and it's sort of like cooking, which is one of my favorite things to do. Except... you can't eat the potions afterwards. Also, I think I'd like Transfiguration if you didn't have to transfigure animals. :/

Omg, you guys, I just got back from my first job interview ever. It was terrifying! I applied at Dairy Queen. The manager was nice, and I have a good resume, but there are 30 other applicants, so I'm sure that someone with more experience will get the job. But at least it was experience for future interviews, right?

Day 7: Favorite female character and why?
Hmmm. I guess I don't feel an strongly about the female characters in this series as the male characters, because there's no female character I love as much as my favorite male character (LEE JORDAN ♥) and no female character I hate as much as my least favorite male character (I can't say who that is yet but I hate him omg). I guess my favorite female character would have to be Luna Lovegood. She's funny and adorable and I love her honesty, but sometimes she breaks my heart, especially when they found the painting on her ceiling in the last book. I guess I kind of identify with her in that way, because I know what it's like to not have many friends, and therefore to care that much about the friends you do have. I love Luna ♥

I seriously thought I was the only person who shipped Sheppard/Todd. Apparently not. Anyway, it gave me an idea to do my own Sheppard/Todd video to the song Hangover by Hey Monday.

Sheppard/Ronon - Girlfriend (Avril Lavigne)
I started this one today on an impulse when I heard the song on the radio. It's mostly just silly. I might not even finish it. It depends if I can find a way to cut out the first verse ("I think you know I'm damn precious/and hell yeah, I'm the motherfucking princess" isn't exactly a Ronon-like thing to say...).

SGA girls - Just Got Paid, Let's Get Laid (The Millionaires)
This would probably be Teyla, Katie Brown, Elizabeth, Larrin, and maybe Jennifer. I matched some clips up with random lyrics from the song (in my head, not actually on Movie Maker) and it's rather amusing, but I don't know if I'll actually be able to do it.

I most likely won't do this one. I might do a short video with just the first verse and chorus, though.

I want to do this one, but I've yet to find the last 1/4 of Sunday on youtube without a border around it, so I can't get the clips I need :(

Day 6: What House would you want to be in?
I'd most definitely be in Ravenclaw. I've known that ever since I started reading Harry Potter. I'm smart and I'm an overachiever in school, and I'm not particularly brave or nice, so no Gryffindor or Hufflepuff for me. And... I dunno, I just don't feel like a Slytherin. Ravenclaw just feels like my house. Plus I took a 100-question Sorting Hat quiz which confirmed it. I AM A RAVENCLAW. (And so is MarkReadsHarryPotter, so I'm good with that :D)

Day 5: Favorite male character and why
LEE JORDAN. Hands down. I know he's not a main character or even an important character, but he is the most awesome character ever. When I was little and reading the books I used to laugh so hard every time he apologized to McGonagall during his Quidditch commentary. He's the reason that Quidditch was always my favorite part of the books, and I don't know, I just have this huge affection for him. Plus he's friends with Fred & George, who are my second and third favorites, so that gets him even more awesome points. ♥ Lee ♥

Day 4: Least favorite female character and why
This one is... really difficult. I'm having trouble thinking of any female characters I particularly hate. Actually, I think my problem is that I'm looking for badly-written characters, rather than well-written bad characters. But if I choose the well-written bad characters... I don't even know, I can't choose, I enjoy reading them all. I guess Bellatrix Lestrange gets a little annoying, with her crazy obsession with Voldemort, but that's about it. I just can't bring myself to mark a character I enjoy reading about as my least favorite, no matter how evil they are.

Yes, in fact, there is. THEY LEFT OUT PEEVES ENTIRELY. I will never, ever get over this fact. Hmph. Also, where is the giant squid?

In other news, I passed the final test for the in-class portion of Drivers' Ed today, and now I can start getting actual driving lessons! Yaaaay!
